I need help for probably a php.ini config problem.

I can't get include statements to work on my Windows XP Home machine. I installed MySQL and PHP 5.01.

MySQL searches work if the code is in each page but I can't get them to work using include statements.

I am an old guy who needs well commented help or instructions on where to look and how to fix.
